Future Dates for the Diary

St Margaret's Church is open for services as follows: Thursdays 10.15 am Sundays 11.00 am

Children @ Church services are held on the 2nd and last Sundays of the month at 9.30 am and the next dates are 28 April and then 12 & 26 May 2024
From Monday 29 April, please note that there will be cabling works being carried out along Chapel Lane with the section between Birmingham Road and Coronation Road - access to frontages only. Work is also taking place on Pinfold Lane. Attached are maps showing diversions via Skip Lane (click here) and via Scott Arms (click here) as well as Pinfold Lane (click here). The first phase of the works is expected to take a couple of weeks.
On Saturday 11 May at 2.30 pm, St Margaret's Church will be holding their Marriage Thanksgiving Service, click here for more details. Coffee/Tea & biscuits will be provided afterwards.
15.5.23 - Planning Application: 21/1720 – Field Adjacent the Duckery, Chapel Lane - The application went to Walsall Council's Planning Committee on Thursday 1 December and was refused. However, Anesco are now appealing against this decision and there will be a Planning Inquiry Appeal documentation has been attached to the Planning Application and further comments need to be with the Planning Inspector in Bristol by 28 May 2023.
Donations to St Margaret's Church
There is now a new way to donate to St Margaret's Church using "Donate Now" set up by the Diocese of Lichfield to help their churches. Their Finance Team, with help from a local software company, Data Developments, have put a Donate Now button on the Diocese website.If you would like to make a donation to St Margaret’s Church, then click on the link to the Donate Now page, after you have clicked the button, you can enter your details and can choose St Margaret’s from the drop-down list of churches.
In addition, there is a Gift Aid option as well as an option for donors to cover the transaction cost if they want to. As is the case with Contactless and Giving Direct, funds go into the Diocesan bank account as the registered charity and are then passed on to St Margaret’s as soon as possible along with a report showing when the donations were made.
