St. Margaret's Parish Church & St. Margaret's C of E Primary School, Great Barr (Lichfield Diocese) are looking to appoint a Half-Time Children & Families Worker.

The successful candidate will bring an enthusiasm to develop our existing children's ministry within both St. Margaret's Church and School. To help families become fully involved and integrated into the life of both communities which will lead to new opportunities in worship.

The person appointed will:

- Have experience in working with pre-school and primary age children in a church, school or other voluntary setting

- Have an understanding of the church's mission in local communities

- Be able to relate well to all ages, both children and parents

- Be able to work alongside other church & school members, both staff and volunteers

- Be able to create accessible worship experiences for children and families

- Have a good working knowledge of safeguarding procedures

- Be self-motivated

- Will require an enhanced CRB disclosure

This is a 3 year appointment for 20 hours per week

Salary of £9,000 per annum.
